Abstract

The present study investigated the mediating role of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in the relationship between job satisfaction, turnover, and organizational identification. The population of the present study included all employees working at Tehran municipality at district 2 and the sample consisted of 260 employees selected using random sampling and Cochran formula. The research methodology was descriptive-correlational. To test hypotheses, we have used regression test and structural equation modeling to fit the overall model. The results of structural equation model analysis (confirmatory factor analysis) indicated that the model was standard and appropriate. The results of the study model showed that Organizational Citizenship Behavior was a partial mediator in the relationship between job satisfaction, turnover, and organizational identification.
