An Investigation of the relationship between talent management and the performance of faculty members in Esfehan University

Abstract

Talent management strategy (TMS) is one of the new paradigms in human resources management (HRM) that centers on identification, employment, training, promotion and maintenance in an organization. The purpose and method of this study is based on correlation descriptive-survey process. The statistical population of the current research contains the whole faculty members of Isfahan University. By means of two-stage cluster sampling, 213 people were chosen and categorized as samples randomly. The questionnaire that is used to collect the participants’ this questionnaire’s Cronbach's (alpha) for the whole questionnaire is 0.722. To test research hypotheses, structural equation modeling technique is used. The result of this study, reveal that TMS has a positive and meaningful effect on the performance of faculty members in Isfahan University.
