A study of Relationship between Knowledge Leadership with Intellectual Capital Management

Abstract

The purpose of present study is to identify the relationship between knowledge leadership with Intellectual Capital Management at the Bu-Ali Sina University of Hamedan in academic year of 1391-92. The research method is descriptive - correlational. Statistical population included all staff (non-faculty employees) of the number was 313 people and Sample size of 171 subjects was determined based on the Cochran formula.Sampling method was done using proportional stratified random sampling. Data collected were used from the tow questionnaires with items: knowledge leadership questionnaire of Viitala (2004) and Intellectual Capital Management questionnaire of Bontis (2001), Pike et al (2002).  For appointment of questionnaires validity of the method content-related validity and to assess scale the reliability of the questionnaires, Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was used. Reliability coefficient was calculated for the questionnaires of knowledge leadership and Intellectual Capital Management, was estimated 0/93 and 0/92 respectively.Results representative that is the level of knowledge leadership and Intellectual Capital Management, is above average surface. Pearson correlation coefficient revealed there is a significant positive relationship between knowledge leadership and Intellectual Capital Management. The results of multiple regression analysis indicated that the components of knowledge leadership, Factor of supportingthe learning process of individual and group have highest impact in prediction Intellectual Capital Management.
