The research is based on a survey of 40 indicators through the Questionnaires and use of Friedman test, one-sample sign test, couple comparison test and structural equation approach to validate the conceptual mode land testing hypostasis. The results demonstrate that the status of constituents of technology’s dimensions is not satisfactory. Results show that competitive advantage in the current situation relies on the technology as a system which depends on technique and equipment (Tools). Whereas, the research results indicate that the desirable competitive advantage should depend on technology as knowledge and technology as process. The research shows IRNA need to reforming in It strategy and developing function of five demotion of There technology. In the end paper recommended some suggestions for IRNA to satisfaction multi-dimensional nature of technology. تکنولوژی‌های نوین با پنج بعد سیستم وابسته به تکنیک، دانش، کنش، فرایند و شی واسط تعریف شده است که هر یک از این ابعاد با مولفه‌های عملیاتی خاص تاثیر ویژه‌ای بر فعالیت‌های خبری دارد و می‌تواند در کسب مزیت رقابتی موثر باشد. ‌این تحقیق از روش‌های پژوهشی اسنادی، دلفای و توصیفی بهره جسته و ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها پرسش‌نامه بوده که درجامعه آماری مدیران، سردبیران، روسای نمایندگی و خبرنگاران سازمان‌های خبری و در حجم نمونه آماری 90 نفر انجام شد و با استفاده از آزمون‌های فریدمن، علامت یک نمونه‌ای، آزمون مقایسه زوج‌ها و معادلات ساختاری به بررسی وضعیت 40 مولفه تشکیل دهنده ابعاد پنج‌گانه تکنولوژی‌های ارتباطی در عرصه خبر و تاثیر آنها بر مزیت رقابتی پرداخته است. نتایج نشان می‌دهد، وضعیت مولفه‌های ابعاد گوناگون تکنولوژی در ایرنا نامطلوب است. مزیت رقابتی در وضع موجود متکی بر تکنولوژی به عنوان سیستم وابسته به تکنیک و ابزار است. در حالیکه نتایج تحقیق نشان می‌دهد مزیت رقابتی مطلوب ایرنا مستلزم تکیه بر تکنولوژی به عنوان دانش وتکنولوژی به عنوان فرآیند است. بر اساس نتایج تحقیق، استراتژی رقابتی ایرنا نیازمند توانمندسازی در تمام ابعاد پنج‌گانه است که در پایان پیشنهاداتی برای آن ارایه شده است. https://jipa.ut.ac.ir/article_20320_619c6b6f81d4a999226ba16766dbb8fe.pdf
